Marc D. Haefner has contributed a chapter on protecting
product design through trade dress to
Aspatore Books’ recently published
Common Issues in IP Law: Leading Lawyers on Resolving
Disputes, Evaluating IP Claims, and Achieving Successful
Client Outcomes. Mr. Haefner’s chapter provides
useful information on how the “look and feel” of a
particular product and its “take to market” packaging are
important intellectual property assets that can and should
be protected by manufacturers.
Common Issues in IP Law
is an authoritative, insider’s perspective on best practices
for assessing current trends and issues in intellectual
property law. The authors – expert practitioners from some
of the nation’s leading law firms – guide the reader through
understanding the various areas of IP law, such as patents,
trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
