CONNELL FOLEY HELPS LINCOLN CENTER’S
“MIDSUMMER NIGHT SWING” SOCIAL NETWORKING INITIATIVE
Roseland, NJ, July 15, 2008
– Connell Foley LLP, a Roseland, New Jersey-based law firm
and a pro bono partner of Lincoln Center for the Performing
Arts (LCPA), is a proud contributor to Lincoln Center’s
innovative social networking feature of its long-running
participatory dance series, Midsummer Night Swing.
This program, featuring
dancing under the stars to bands from around the world, now
includes a web-based “virtual community” that enables
visitors to create their own web page, view photos and
videos of the events, blog about favorite artists, and
connect with friends after attending the dances.
Connell
Foley lawyers Peter Pizzi and Monica Seth assisted LCPA by
drafting terms and conditions, a privacy policy and other
legal infrastructure for the web-based elements of the
Midsummer Night Swing social networking program.
Lincoln Center is believed to be the first major performing
arts organization to launch its own branded web-based social
network.
Performances take place every Tuesday through Saturday
through July 26th. For more information and tickets, visit
www.lincolncenter.org/swing. Additionally,
the program is chronicled in the
July 16th edition of the Wall Street Journal.
