Lacey Holds Annual Meeting of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey

 

ROSELAND, N.J., April 23, 2010 --- Connell Foley partner John P. Lacey presided over the 34^th Annual Meeting of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.  The event was attended by more than 400 of New Jersey’s Federal practitioners, attorneys from the Office of the United States Attorney and the judges and magistrate judges of the District Court.  Mr. Lacey is the President of the Federal Bar, which represents more than 800 members who practice in the federal courts. 

 

Connell Foley partner Tricia B. O'Reilly was a panelist at the 34^th Annual Meeting.  The panel on which O'Reilly spoke addressed civil discovery issues in cases pending in the District of New Jersey.  O'Reilly offered practical alternatives to the time consuming and expensive process of conducting privilege reviews and preparing privilege logs in the modern discovery era in light of the electronic discovery requirements of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. 

 

Lacey's practice focuses on Complex Corporate Litigation, White-Collar Criminal Defense, Crisis Management and Catastrophic Loss, Directors and Officers Litigation, Health Care and Medical Practice, Labor and Employment Law, and Internal Investigations.

 

O'Reilly chairs the firm Labor and Employment Practice Group.  Her practice focuses primarily on Employment Litigation, Complex Commercial Litigation, and Internal Investigations.
