Brad D. Shalit is a partner in the
Taxation & Estate Planning Group at
Connell Foley LLP, one of New
Jersey’s largest and most respected
firms. His practice is limited to
tax planning for individuals,
businesses, nonprofit organizations,
and estates and trusts, with
particular emphasis on estate
planning and asset protection
planning. He brings his innovative
expertise to planning estates from
four million to over five hundred
million dollars, as well as advising
family foundations, public
charities, closely held
corporations, partnerships and
limited liability companies on
significant tax issues.
Mr. Shalit received his masters of
law (LL.M.) in taxation from New
York University which is ranked
first in the nation for that
program. He lectures extensively on
estate planning, asset protection
and related tax matters. Mr. Shalit
is a member of the American Bar
Association, New Jersey State Bar
Association and New York State Bar
Association.
Mr. Shalit is a member of the New
York and New Jersey bars as well as
the United States District Court for
the District of New Jersey and the
United States Tax Court.
Mr. Shalit has been recognized as
a 2009 New Jersey Super Lawyers
Rising Star.
