Rukhsanah L. Lighari is an associate in the firm's
Business Litigation and Intellectual Property
practice groups. She focuses her practice on
complex commercial, intellectual property, and
antitrust litigation.
Prior to joining Connell Foley in 2008, Ms. Lighari
served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable
Roberto A. Rivera-Soto, Associate Justice, in the
Supreme
Court of New Jersey, and the Honorable Joel A.
Pisano, U.S.D.J., in the United States District
Court for the District of New Jersey. She graduated
cum laude
from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she
was a member of the editorial staff of the
Seton Hall Law
Review and the Interscholastic Moot
Court Board. During law school, Ms. Lighari also
participated in the Center for Social Justice's
Impact Litigation Clinic, through which she
successfully argued an appeal
before the United States Court of Appeals for the
Second Circuit.
