Michael J. Crowley has over twenty-five years experience handling clients’ litigation needs on significant matters from the investigation stage through trial.  He is an experienced trial attorney in New York’s federal and state courts where he handles litigation in a diverse variety of practice areas.  Mr. Crowley concentrates his litigation practice in the areas of aviation law, commercial disputes, product liability, and toxic tort.  He is a member of numerous bar associations and trial lawyer groups and is active in both the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel.  In addition, Mr. Crowley lectures nationally on aviation-related topics for the airline industry, and on product liability issues for major manufacturers.  He currently is involved in the consolidated litigation arising out of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and is serving as a member of the Defendants' Executive Committee for that litigation.

 

Mr. Crowley is an active participant in his community and various charity organizations including: long-time and active member of the Board of Directors for the Garden City Athletic Association; long-time member and former Director of the Garden City Estates Property Owners’ Association; currently a member of the Advisory Board to the charitable Miracle Foundation; multi-year term as the President of the Garden City Little League; and currently President of the Board of Governors of The Cherry Valley Club.
